Who we are

Tech X is a technology company based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We provide quality assurance services, technology talent, software development, training and community programs. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Tech X.

If you have a question about this policy or about your data, send it through our contact form and choose "General Inquiry".

What we collect

We collect only what you type into our forms, plus the page you sent it from and the time you sent it:

• Contact, consultation, project, talent, demo and partnership requests: your name, email, organization (if given) and the details of your request.
• Campus Ambassador applications: your name, email, phone, university, department, academic year, LinkedIn profile (if given), motivation and experience.
• Job applications and CVs: your name, email, phone, area of expertise, the role you want, years of experience, LinkedIn profile (if given), your introduction and your CV file.
• Training and event registrations: your name, email, phone and organization or university.

How we use it

We use your details only to answer what you asked for: to reply to an inquiry, review an application, or manage a registration. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Every form asks for your consent before you send it. We record that you agreed and which version of this policy you agreed to.

Job applications and CVs

CVs are stored encrypted in private storage that is never publicly reachable. Only Tech X staff responsible for recruitment can open them.

We use your application only to consider you for the role you applied for, or for similar roles if you sent a general application. We do not share it outside Tech X without asking you first.

Where your data is stored

We use these service providers to run the website and store submissions. They process data on our behalf and may store it outside Bangladesh:

• Cloudflare: hosts the website, receives form submissions and stores CV files.
• Netlify: hosts our content management system.
• Supabase: hosts the database that holds form submissions.

How long we keep it

We delete submissions once we no longer need them. Our current retention periods are:

• Job applications and CVs: 12 months.
• Campus Ambassador applications: 24 months.
• Inquiries: 24 months after we last worked on them.
• Training and event registrations: 18 months.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not track you across other websites.

Your browser keeps one small note for the length of your visit so the opening animation plays only once. It is not a cookie and is never sent to us. If we add analytics later, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Your rights

You can ask us what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Send the request through our contact form and we will reply by email. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Submissions are always handled under the version you agreed to when you sent them.
